Dear All,

I am trwying to reinstall the Chemstation in Windows 2000 NT system as the earlier software is not working due to the problem with a macro or a .dll file which it says is missing.

Is it safe to let he data and method files remain in the system as they were or do I need to take a specific backup. Will the method and sequence files in the backup be operational also after I have reinstalled the software.

Any info would be most welcome.
Separation is the part of life

I would (for safety) make a backup directory on the C: drive and copy the Methods, Data, and Sequence directories into that before doing your install. then you could always copy them back in if they were overwritten.

We use from A.06 to A.09 ChemStation with Windows 2000 here.
