Hello, I am having trouble changing the font size in Chemstation Reports. It is an older version of Chemstation, A.06.03. I looked at the win.ini file, and there was no specification for report font line. I added font type and size lines, deleted the Config.reg files, re-booted. There was no change. Can anyone help me?

Thanks, Diane

Hi,

I don't know exactly what you want (if you want to fit report into less pages, decrease/increase the size of chromatogram in report, etc) but what I can suggest is:
-go to data analysis --> Report --> Specify Report --> and there you can try to see: under signal options you can change the peak label font size and type and under chromatogram output you can choose the size to fit page.

I hope that somehow it helps.

I want to increase the size of the font type within the report, the font used to present the calibration results table. I want to be able to see the type when I preview the report. I can see the type within the chromatogram and I understand how to change this (thanks tho).

The current settings for the font within the report are so small, it is illegible when I preview it. The only way I can preview is to print. ( I am trying to save TREES!)

Thanks for your response,
Diane

Diane,

In Chemstation version A.03.34, this is how I can change the report font.

Go in to "Edit Entire Method" and unckeck all boxes except for "Data Analysis". Work through the screens until you come to the box that reads "Graphics Options". In the bottom of that box there are places to select "Font" and "Size". Try the various options until you find one that you like. Don't forget to save your method each time you make a change. I hope this works for you!

Thanks! I will try this when I get in front of the instrument again.

Hi!

Try this:

Open the win.ini with notepad or other editor.
Find the [PCS] tag and change the ReportFontName and/or the ReportFontSize values.
Restart your computer.

Good luck.
