Hello,
We have an old Varian 380-LC ELSD we are attempting to resurrect. The first time we fired it up, there were no issues. Then the next day we noticed the screen didn’t turn on with the first attempt. Now, the screen won’t turn on at all and it beeps continuously. We opened it up and found LED D16 to be flashing.
We checked the PSU and found it to be operating at spec, so we’re unsure where to go from here. I’m not above using AI to attempt to help with this, and it suspects there could be a voltage regulator out somewhere.
I wanted to see if maybe anyone here has any insight.
