Hi all, may I asked if any of you guys have experiences with the chip based LC instrument from Agilent?

Any comments? I am looking at the chip based LC as another new 'toy' in our lab to play with - mainly for small molecules works.

BTW, it's been so long since I last posted here - been really tied up with my works and reports and such - ><

Anyway, with all the discussions and debating on the 5500 series LCMS/MS from AB, finally I will be able to get my hand on the instrument next week ^^ sigh, cant do much since budget was cut due to economy downturn last year - since we have the funding again ( finally ), we decided on the 5500QTrap and it will be ship to us by next week ^^

I believed some of you guys here have already had their hands on the 5500QT; any feedbacks from all the debates we have had previously? How is it going? ^^

LC Chip is great as long as you understand the limitations relative to the small molecule work. More or less you are not going to see anything that is eluted isocratically. Furthermore, the Chip Cube only works with Agilent mass spectrometers.
