Hello forum members.
Have any of You got some experience with thiram determination on apples
(using lc-ms/ms)? I start with Quechers method hoping that MeCN will denaturate
enzymes responsible for the thiram degradation but no luck as far. I get recoveries
around 30-40% ... any ideas ?

p.s.
still learning english

hi there, since you have used quechers, how about trying to do SPE?

Recovery is low most probably will also be due to the ionic form of the pesticides carbamate of thiram in question.

Let me know your detail sample prep and the MS/MS experiment settings so that I can have a clearer picture.

Cheers ~
