Hello,
The trap heater keeps burning out on a Saturn 2000 MS. I would appreicate if anyone could give me a tip for why, or what to look for.
Thanks,

Hi all, it looks like I have a trap heater failure. Is this common? Is it easy to replace?
Just a thought, but there are two heaters for this instrument. One is rated for 120VAC and one for 220VAC. Make sure you have the correct P/N for the voltage you'running your instrument on. Hope this helps.
Hello,

I know, that Varian was a bad series of heater which burned out easily.
The part no. of the 240V heater assy is 393031392, but You can buy only the heater from the net and You need just fixing the cables. It is much cheaper!
It is not so complicate to change, but need to be watchfully when you take of the manifold boards.

If You are interesting only the cartridge, I will looking for You.

Regards,
