I am experiecing a peak loss when pyrolizing an acrylic dispersion in a 6150 CDS analytical pyroprobe attached to a Agilent GC-MS, using a non polar column.
At first I could see the acrylate monomer in the pyrogram of this sample, but after a while, in new runs, I could not see it anymore. Anything has changed: pyrolysis and GC methods, column, pyroprobe, sample and GC equipment.
System in cleaned and atune OK.
Has anyone who works with analytical pyrolysis ever saw something like this?
Any advice or experience shared would be much appreciated.
