Low PPM level N2 detection in ultra-pure Hydrogen

Hello everyone! This is my first time posting but I am a long-time lurker getting answers and information regarding gas chromatography for the build of my specialty gas lab.

Recently me and some friends have been talking about how to detect very low PPM nitrogen within our Ultra-High-Purity (UHP) Hydrogen. To increase the proven purity of the hydrogen we need to show that the quantity of Nitrogen within our UHP hydrogen is:

For Grade 5.0 less than 5ppm N2

For Chromatography grade less than 2ppm N2

And finally for Research grade less than 0.3ppm N2

We have come up with a few good ideas but nothing stellar. The best working idea we currently have is getting a refurbished GC with a PED but I am curious to see if anyone else has any other ideas, or maybe knows of a process analyzer suitable.

Have you considered a H2 removal purifier -REBResearch for example, to remove the bulk of the hydrogen before N2 peak. Would allow you to shoot more sample and then detect with an HID type detector.

It would be interesting to me to see if you get a negative peak?!
