Hey?

Anybody out there still running these old dinosaurs?
I've found a few people that can still keep them running.

Mine is running on an old Win 98 computer, that is on it's last legs,
Is there any option to upgrade computers, and software to keep this hardware running?

These were good instruments, and I'm sure there are a few still in service, I would like to hear from anybody with knowledge about them!
I have a few "parters" if that helps anyone!

Thanks!

I've worked in some labs that have had 5890s running XP and 2000. If you plan on still using them, you could try to build a "new" PC running XP.
We would get computers from NIXSYS to keep them going. 5890s are definitely workhorses.
