i have to remove the syringe tower of my perkin elmer autosampler xl to clean the charcoal trap
i didn't find anything about in the manuals vol1 & 2, neither on google or youtube
never did it and i'm a bit stressed
anybody knows how to do it ?
ok sorry there is no need to remove the tower if you need to open the machine

If you are talking about an Autosystem XL GC, just loosen the two slotted screws that hold the main cover down: one is under the detectors cover (on the injectors side) and the other under the remote connections cover (right behind the display). Then you may lift the main cover up to its detent. After replacing the trap and closing the cover, tighten the left holding screw first, then the right one. The tower alignment will not be lost.
