Hello,
I wish to put hand on the way a HPLC Spectra System which did not work for 7 years. It contains a degasser SC1000, a pump P4000, an automatic sampler AS3000, a detector UV1000, a system of acquisition SN4000 and the PC1000 software (of TSP).

Can you say to me that they are minimun parts to be changed?
Do you know a means to free the software PC1000 (code in the launch)?

Thank you in advance

Degasser: With mobile phase running through it verify if it can hold its vacuum (should be able to see this on the gauge). If not I think they sell a kit for this. I had the main chamber develop a crack in it and that replacement was more expensive.

Pump, I would recommend getting a general pm kit I believe they still sell one. Contains new seals and such...

Autosampler: May need a new syringe. May need a new needle (might be clogged depending on how it was last used.

Detector: Once again depends on what was in it last... May need a new cell. I would change the UV lamp. I don't remember if the 1000 is a single wavelength or not. If it is a dual wavelength there is a procedure for greasing a little part inside which switches between them as you collect data (can't remember the correct name).

You should be able to get parts from Thermo Fisher Scientific as Fisher bought Thermo a few years ago.
