Hi!!

Does anyone have a method for measuring dialkyl fosfates or OP pesticides in biological samples with CG-ECD or HPLC-UV?

Thank you very much

Hi
To analize OP pesticides in GC, i think the ECD is not the correct detector. You can use a NPD or a MS.

Sorry for my english

I thought the same but I checked one paper in which they analyse DAP in air using CG-ECD.

Environmental and biological monitoring of exposure to organophosphorus pesticides: Application to occupationally and non-occupationally exposed adult populationsJournal of Exposure Science and Environmental Epidemiology (2006) 16, 417–426.

That´s why I thought it would be possible

Juan Pedro,

I looked at generic structure of DAP's and would not see how they would be great responders on ECD but I have not actually tried it so...

Have you considered derivatization with PFBB prior to ECD analysis? Otherwise, I should think NPD would be a better detector.

Best regards.
