I am trying to validate an already existing rel subs method for a new impurity. It is available commercially but leads to 3 peaks upon injection on HPLC-UV. I notice all the CoAs for the standard online the purity is assessed by GC.

What would be the reason in this instance why GC would work better?
Name the impurity please. Is it a secret compound?
