Hello,
I'm using a C18 LiChrocart and abruptly the pressure is down, and the resolution of the peaks is very poor. I think that I need to regenerate the column. What I need to do?

I think that the steps I need do are: Wash with water, then methanol, and finally with chloroform, and then reverse in the order of the wash solvets.

Are this ok???

Thank

The pressure is abruptly lower? Are you sure you don't have a leak somewhere in your system?

If your retention times have also shifted (earlier), there is a possibility that the packing of your column is shot and/or channneling.

Maybe regeneration is useless, you should refill the column head, but it's difficult to do well
