Dear all,

I am a PhD student studying a red seaweed. I am a biologist by training and part of my current research is to understand the variability of the halogenated monoterpenes in this organism.

I would like to know if there are existing GC-MS standards for halogenated monoterpenes or if there are institutions where I could probably procure some pure compounds. Could there be mass spectral libraries that I could use specific to these halogenated compounds?

I wold suggest checking the literature to see who has been working in the area and if they have sources for standards, those sources should be in the publications.
