How far should a capillary column be inserted into an ECD detector on a Shimadzu GC-17A?

I'd RTFM, if I had one.

Thanks. I'm thinking about ordering a "Capillary Installation Gauge." Stupidly expensive, but sometimes the right tool is worth it.
