If you mean you have ChemStor which is why the ChemStation requires a password, I believe you need to have administrator privileges. Enter Chemstor Review Client, and under Administer Users clear the password of such locked out users. If you only have manager privileges, that might not work. Try admin as log on and admin as password for ChemStor.Does anyone know how to unlock an operator whose user name has been locked? I have system admin privilages (manager) but can not figure out where/what to click
It worked???? Really?????? I don't know that much about computers. The way I understand this is that the ChemStor is an electronic data security program which stores all your data files, even if they appear overwritten in ChemStation, and all your keystrokes. These files are stored in the HPCHEM\Chemstor\Database\ directory, which should be electronically locked to all by administrators. ChemStor is designed for the pharmaceutical industry, to comply with 21CFR Part 11.That worked. Thanks for the help.
