We are having issues passing our methaniser check. A standard with trace CO, CO2 and methane is run monthly, or after any maintenance event and the FID response (area counts) is recorded and trended. If the area is trending downwards or has changed by more than 5% change must be
investigated.
Basically we rarely passes, has anybody any experience in what we can do to solve this issue
Which component is more than 5% off spec.?
Or which component is trending downward?

Or do you mean this is happening for the total area of all peaks?

It could be that the catalyst in the methanizer is no longer converting all the components to methane. In that case the methanizer cartridge can be refilled or replaced.
