I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the peak height used for determining peak width can be adjusted in Chemstation. I am working with B.03.02 and need to get some alternate tailing factor values.

It appears to me that the calculation is fixed at a height of 5%, but I was hoping for some verification before I move on. Thank you for your time!

Sean

Every "width" parameter in reports is the peak width at half height. The only Tailing factor calculation uses the USP definition. There is a "symmetry" parameter, but it is based on statistical moments (I think) and does not generate a commonly useful number.

There are some additional values calculated in the Performance report styles, and they might help you.
