I intend to modify the 717 autosampler with smaller system delay volume for running with narrow bore LC column. The default sample loop size is 200uL, which is the smallest volume to be used. Is it possible to use smaller size loop, say <100uL since I always inject ~10uL ? However, the instrument configuration can only set 200 or 2000uL.

There is a low volume kit for the 717, I dont quite remember what the volume drops to though. The 717 was never really designed for narrow bore but the kit will help.

Thanks a lot. I'd get this and see if it could help reducing the use of acetonitrile by changing my system for narrow bore LC columns. There is a low volume kit for the 717, I dont quite remember what the volume drops to though. The 717 was never really designed for narrow bore but the kit will help.
