Forced degradation peak purity

Hi,

I was hopping that someone may be able to help me better understand peak purity determination via dual wavelength peak ratio. I am currently attempting to force unknown degradation products as part of my method validation and it was suggested to me that the use of dual wavelengths can be useful in determining if my active peak remains uneffected by these degradents.

Any time that you can spend on this matter would be greatly appreciated,

Peter
