Hello everyone, it's my first time in ChromForum.

I want to know what are the uses of triethylamine...The pH of the drug in mobile phase is a factor of choice for use of that substance?

Thank you all...sorry if my english isn't very good...

Triethylamine was commonly used to suppress tailing of basic compounds on silica-based reversed-phase columns, presumably by tying up active silanols. With improvements in column technology, it is used much less frequently in recent methods.
