One man told me his lab has an 6890GC with an HID detector (I have not seen). As I know, Agilent does not have such a detector, so how come it's possible? Anybody knows this?
Thanks

Oh, thank you, Gasman.Agilent supplies these detectors as a 'special' on new instruments. It is not possible through Agilent to add one to an existing chromatograph. If you wish to add one of these detectors to an existing GC, you should contact Valco Instruments.
