Hello,

I'm using a Shimadzu 2010 GC-System with an OCI wich runs with glas-liner in Split-Mode at a ZB5 Column. The Glas-Liner are filled with glas-wool. The problem is that the wool sliped down the liner and blocks the flow onto the column and the result is an unuable system. The Shimadzu-Service can't give me an answer why the wool slip down. Does anybody else have that problem with this liner? The Shimadzu Part.Nr. is P/N961-01481-02
Did this just start happening, or is this the first time you've tried? Are you inserting it with the correct orientation? Wool should be more towards the bottom; needle shouldn't touch it like with focus/precision liners.

Are there large pressure/flow changes in the inlet in the method? We had that happening once with our Thermo PTV in split mode (same basic idea design as the Shimadzu OCI/PTV) and remedied it by changing inlet parameters.

Can you try a liner from a different vendor? Restek sells ones for the 2010 OCI/PTV
