Information on Purity Angle and Purity Threshold

Dear Friends,

I would like to get your help locating a good source of information or discussion about the Millenium Software peak purity measures: Purity Angle and Purity Threshold.

Basically I would like to know exactly what they measure from raw spectral data, and their limitations and uses in detecting peak nonhomogeneity.

If you know of a good literature source on this subject , please let me know.
