Do I need to set up a separate event stimulus from Computer (Empower Software) to PCM for each different line in my gradient table? If so, how do I do this?

Cheers.

Hi Ghost Writer,

You don’t need to set up events. Just enter time and percentage A/B in the gradient table and you’ll get the desired gradient.

danko,

I have no problem with setting up the gradient table but when the time for the 2nd line of the table comes it doesn't change the gradient but stays at the initial setting. They are all connected via IEEE 488 cables and successfully talking to each other with the exception of the gradient.

Cheers. And I appreciate your trying to help.

Hi again,

In that case, the only problem I can think of is the firmware of the PCM. Have you checked its compatibility with Empower?
I can slightly remember that we had to upgrade the firmware of some of our PCMs when we upgraded from Millennium 3 to Empower 2. The firmware is installed on a chip which can easily be replaced.´
