I am using the Dionex IC equipment and i am relatively inexperienced on it. I have run some water samples looking for anions such as nitrates, phosphates, chlorides, and sulfates. I end up with unknowns in my results. Is it possible to have two peaks for the same anion in my results? Or is it interference from some other source? :?

In principle, no. In practice, you can sometimes see "split" peaks under some conditions of overload or a high-ionic strength sample, but this is rare. Most likely it's an interference.
