Dear all,

We have analyzed melamine by LC/MS/MS with HILIC column. Can I use HILIC column with UV detection only for melamine?

Thanks

We developed mixed-mode method (Primesep A reverse phase mixed-mode column) with UV detection (214 nm, 228 nm) for melamine in milk with limit of detection of 0.2 ppm. Method does not require SPE or any other sample preparation. Milk is directly injected into the column through guard/switching valve. If you send me inquiry I will email you results and graphs after January 3. RSD for samples is 98%. We scanned a wide range from 0.2 ppm to 100 ppm. Milk from 12 manufacturers was spiked with melamine (hard to find melamine tainted milk in US :D )

Ask for help.
