Analysis of maleic acid

Hellow ,

I am analyzing maleic acid on GC packed colmn FFAP. But as I think so that in injection port the maleic acid converts in to it's anhydride. If it so then how can I analyze maleci acid on GC or On GC this analysis is safe or not.

Personally, I would consider derivatization if using GC or HPLC using an organic acid column.

Litrature says that primesep columns are useful for that but we don't have the column can you send you mail id so that I can send yu the eatailed of analysis .
