Firmware

Dear Friends.

Two weeks ago we were loading the firmware of a 7683B autoinyector in a GC 7890A but suddenly the power turned off and since then the cromatograph doesnt load its parameters any more, and only appears on the display this: MMON VERSION 3.50 IP = 10. 1. 1 . 101
So, does it have solution?

Power Failure While Updating Firmware

Most any interuption to a firmware or Bios update is usually fatal. A good quality UPS should always be used when updating hardware to protect from this condition. If you can not "talk" to the hardware anymore, then you have corrupted the main initialization program for the device. Contact the manufacturer for a replacement chip.

BTW: The output you are seeing is the Host address IP address of the device so it may not be completely corrupt. Hard to tell from the info given.
