Hi at all
I need to quantitate perchlorate using Internal standard at same retention time but different ion and different channel (Cl18O4, 107 m/z).
Someone can tell to me how to set chromeleon for right ion extraction and peak quantification? Until now if I assign peak to IS software not accept same peak to analyte, and vice versa.
Can I combine two channel in same chro?
Thank you very much.

Internal standards are set up as a SIM scan in the mass spectrometer. What you have to do is duplicate the retention time column in the peak setup table. You can duplicate the column as many times as you need, and can assign a different channel (UV, TIC, SIM1, SIM2. . .) to each of these new columns. Then put the RT for the analyte in the column (detection channel) you wish to use for that particular analyte.

In order to quantify the data using the internal standard, the following steps must be taken:

1. Left-click “Ret. Timeâ€
