Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone here know how to perform the above task after a batch run using the Shimadzu GC-Solution software. Seems like it will only shut the system and flame off, leaving the carrier gas, injector and detector on.

I'm new to this software so I'm not entirely sure if I'm doing it right, but I think I'm quite right here.

What does others think? Your input is highly appreciated.

Not sure, but I would suggest leaving the carrier gas on with injector, column, and detector temp at 70C. Only if you are not going to use the system for a long time would I shut down completely.

Thanks sassman.....your suggestion makes sense. Much appreciated.
