I am having trouble "keeping" my calibration curves in empower. I need to select "ignore" for some points due to calculations outside of acceptance criteria. However, when I save the curve, close the window, and try and re-process it clears the "ignored" points to the originally produced curve and quantitiates all values based off of this curve. What am I doing wrong for empower not to recognize/keep the new curve?

For quantitiation, I have the last two lines of the batch set up to "calibrate" and then "quantitate" where the calibration is applying to the standards (points that need to be ignored) and quantitate is applying to the rest of the batch. Also, when I try and re-process, I use the "quantitiate only" under the pull down menu.

Any suggestions?

1) Question why you have points that don't fit. Can you justify ignoring them?

2) If you reprocess a sample set, it will do just that. If you quantitate a result set (after having ignored some standard points and saving all) using existing integration and without clearing the curve, I think you'll get what you're after.
Thanks,
DR
