Hi people!

I work at a GC/MSD (6890/5973).
This system don’t has an UPS, and after some interruptions of electrical supply that began to fail.
This is the error message in the Logbook:

1101, "[{REP} acq: strt sim]: Unrecoverable mass spec fault: 512"
Difficulty with the electromultiplier supply at runtime 7.44

This problem had happened beforehand, but the failure was in the method, since power failures ocurred during a run, and the method was corrupted.

Today, I executed a run, and the next run stopped at 7.44 minutes.

The filament is good and the vacuum is good too. The EMV was 1500.

I executed Profile and Scan (in Manual Tune) and the error message is the same.

Help me please!

Astroguille,

Probably is worth to use a different method to see if you get
the same error message and also to retune the instrument using a
previously saved copy of the autotune macro (or a macro from another
instrument or computer).

As you mentioned something similar already happened in the past...

Best regards,
bhuvfe
