Hi everyone,
I am using a Beckman System Gold HPLC comprised of 508 autosampler, 126 solvent module, and 168 detector. It popped out a service message and stopped running a sample midway. The messages were " High speed communication of detector 168" and "Communication failure" . It then initiated a download of microcode and completed. The machine became fine but i stopped running the samples and switched it off :( . I am scared similar thing might occur and damage the machine or maybe i did something wrong.

Please i need advice on what to do and thanks in advance :) .
O yee of little faith in yourself! You fixed it! It was the computer. Turn it on and start your sequence.
Thanks for the insight, will try and get back to you
