Please advise:
1) why in a molecular weight distribution, the peak average (Mp) can be higher than weight average (Mw)?
2)Usually we input our GPC standards and the chromatogram was reported as Mp in the software. If the standard does not have Mp stated, can we input Mw as the calibration standard? Will there be any variation in the Mw reported if the standard used is not considered a narrow standard where PD>1.1?
