Dear Jocapen; you can use Quechers for Vegetebles and soils; do not use for water.
What is yuor Sample and what kind of analytes you pretend to analyze?
I recomend you to seek this:
J. Wong, M. Hennessy, A. Krynitsky, A. Parker and F.
Schenck –poster at 2005 CDFA.

Regards. Oscar Cortes.

I'd write the proposal suggesting Quechers as a possibility for quick analysis, but try not to lock yourself into using it. It's a broad range extraction and could prove itself reliable for 70% of the compounds you're interested in but a total wash for others. Also due to the small amount of cleanup typically used matrix effects can create problems for broad range detectors (ECD,FID,AED)

Another problem with Quechers is determining which modifications will best suite your needs, the original method has been heavily modified by various groups to better optimize it for their needs.

QuECHERS (or a modification of it) also works well for hormones in wastewater. What EDCs do you plan to investigate and in what matrices?
