Hi all,

We have a chrompack GC model CP9001, the model is obsolete by the manufacturer and we are having a problem with the motor of the
GC.

I would appreciate if someone could help me by finding a source of spare parts for that model.

Looking forward hearing from you ASAP, because we rely on that GC in our analysis.

Regards,
Alchemist
No matter what have you done .. you are still at the beginning :)

Hi Alchemist

Quite a lot of the insides of GCs and other instruments are standard components that the manufacturers bought from somneone else. In the case of your motor you might be able to see a name and a serial number on it, track it down on the internet and buy it from the original source.

This also applies to electronics - I was once quoted SAR18 000 to replace a circuit board, I surfed for the serial no of the chip that was cooked and bought 5 of them for SAR58 !
