Zeroing a PE200 series PDA detector

In countercurrent chromatography, the detector flow cell is typically loaded with stationary phase at the beginning of an experiment. Running TotalChrom 6.3.1 with PE 200 series PDA detector, How does one get access to basic detector functions, such as zeroing, etc.?? After countless hours of reading manuals and scouring the web for information, I can find no way to control any settings on the PE 200 series PDA detector other than what is specified in the instrument method. That is, the only things that I CAN control are:
-wavelength
-bandwidth
-reference wavelength
-spectral acquisition mode
-seconds/spectrum
-lamp off at end of run
What am I missing?? I can't even find a "zero" button on the instrument (???) in hardware nor software. Any help much appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi,

Did you try the "hands on" button in the TC navigator? This should be the place for all real-time adjustments. I am not sure that you can change anything once the sequence is set up.

Hello,

Unfortunately I cannot tell you how, but somehow it must be possible. When the PE 200 DAD is controlled via Chromeleon, the Autozero command is available.

Another possibility is to start data aquisition a little later, I´d recommend Injetion Time + some Time for dead volume (this is depending on your system, you can measure it at the equilibration of the system), because after Injection ccc´s normally are bleeding

Best regards

Try in Detector Actions for DAD watch Autozero button.
Not sure but program must have events for direct control of instrument.
In user manual for PE DAD i didn't find anything about zero it
:? Also there is no inputs from rear panel. Only LAN network...

Best regards.
