To anyone out there who knows about Finnigan Quantum Discovery QQQ

I observed that in Tune Master window, even though I set a particular value (say 84V) for the tube lens offset what I got in the readback is an inconsistent value that could anything from 20V to over 170V. Then when I check the readback for QO, QOO, and lens they too are fluctuating. The signal I get is of course fluctuating (the TIC plot looks like saw teeth) since the ion transmission itself is unstable. Anyone knows what went wrong with the system? Thanks.

how/what are you scanning?
