Is formic acid to corrosive for my HPLC system?

Hi!

We use 2% formic acid during a washing procedure on an extraction column. Lately I have started to worry that this might be corrosive on the steel parts of the HPLC system.

What do you think?
If it is corrosive, what might be the most likely symptoms?
