Hello World!
I have some question about the EPA method 8270 D 2007.
I would like to know if the surrogate should be regarded as analytes and calibrated line with calibration and absurd if this thing should be done also for the internal standards.
Another thing I would like to know how to do quality control? Environmental used (Agilent) for help.
Thank you

Have you read the EPA 8000C method for general information about surrogate and internal standards?

Yes, I read, but leaves the greatest freedom.
I do surrogates for the calibration on the values given for their recovery.
For the internal standards leave everything the same concentration.

frage,

I would suggest you put your surrogates in your calibration from 120 to 20% of your expected responses across your calibration range at 1X dilution. Internal standards are at a fixed concentration for all cal points and for final dilutions of sample.

Best regards.
