Has anyone been able to intrepret the avobenzone USP monograph assay and get decent chromatography? The column phase, length, and ID are given, but not the film thickness. No flow rate is given either. The avobenzone peak fronts ridiculously badly with whatever conditions I've tried.

The question might be also raised: has anyone NOT had trouble following a USP Monograph as written?
