Ok this is probably a really dumb question but a client of mine says they are unable to get their HP 5890 GC/5971 & 5972 MSD to display signal to noise. I have very limited lab experience so is anyone able to tell me if this machine is capable of doing this? If so how would this feature be turned on?

Assuming that they are running Chemstation, in Data Analysis view: Tools -> Signal to Noise CheckOk this is probably a really dumb question but a client of mine says they are unable to get their HP 5890 GC/5971 & 5972 MSD to display signal to noise. Hope this helps,
