I'm looking for helium saving systems and find out Helium Saver Injector from ThermoFisher scientific. Did anyone have experience with it or systems like this ?

I read other systems like automatic valves switch carrier gas during half an hour in the best case. Has it any differences or special methods with respect to simple inlets ?

I never used anything like that, but have set up instruments with Tee fittings and toggle valves so that I can switch to Hydrogen or Nitrogen when not using a GC to help save Helium. Added benefit if using Hydrogen is the tendency of Hydrogen to clean the system. That wouldn't do much for saving during the split phase if doing high split ration injections, but it does save during idle times.
