Dear all,
I am looking for a sensitive method for pamidronate analysis up to 0.2 ppm. Since most of the methods are on RI not of mush use. could you suggest any better method?? :)

JM

We did some work on pamidronate, but not at that ppm level with fluorescence detection.

Here is the web page:

Thanks steve,
But i need detail conditions on derivetization, can you pls help me??

JM

Sorry I don't have any of that information.
This highly hydrophilic amine should easily be retained on a ZIC®-HILIC column at high ratio of acetonitrile. Then a post-column reaction between OPA (o-phthalaldehyde [643-79-8]) and the amine enable sensitive flurescence detection.

I don't have the method, but it should be quite straightforward.
