I'm looking for helpin developing an HPLC method for residual alpha-olefin monomers in a polymer matrix. They are copolymerized with another monomer. Polymer samples are very soluble in solvents like THF. I've looked but there is not much literature available for putting some type of chromophore on the olefins (C20-C28). I have a UV-Vis detector available to do this...

Any suggestions are appreciated...
