Vacuum Problem

Agilent 5973N/6890 with diffusion pump. I tuned the ms today using standard tune and the foreline pressure is at 22 mtorr, same as last week. Is this a cause for concern? The other GC/ms we have is steady at 55mtorr for years.

22 mtorr is possible...what is the flow of your carrier gas?
55mtorr for a flow of 1ml/min is o.k

Err, 22 mmTorr is possible, but I have never experienced unless you block the GC interface. Check your GC column flow.
