Who knows?

It is possible to work in a GC-varian, using two autosamplers and two injectors at same time, each one for each column?

Thank you for your atention.

I know that the Varian 3600 (over 15 years old now) did indeed have that capability with two 8100/8200 autosamplers.

Regarding their current GCs I'd just contact your local Varian representative ;)

Thank you. The GC is 450. I would prefer, for the time being, to have the feed-back from other users.

Can you use an inlet splitter and do the same thing? Much easier and cheaper if you can get away with it.

Best regards.

maybe you can use a 8400 sampler feature of "double injection": using same sampler and same syringe you can inject from two different location in two different injection port. You can set initial isothermal long enough to allow two injection to finish, then you can ramp up gc oven.
Good luck

Our Varian 3800 with a 8400 autosampler is supposed to be able to do this. The instruction manual shows us how to set it up to do so but I've never tried it. Maybe I should.

The 450 GC system with 8400 autosampler can do the double injection as described by danicrd but not the type of "dual channel" injection that paulolab was after. As far as I'm aware this type of dual channel system is under patent/license to Agilent.
