Hello,

I am new to the Forum. I have recently started a new job. We have Agilent 1200 but the software is Chemstation. (I have used 1200's before but not the software.)

I have never used Chemstation but for the last week i have been playing about with the software and getting familiar with it.

However, in the runs I am wanting to doa system suit - however, i can get the run to work, intergrate etc, but i cant get a value of the 3 runs for repeatability/%rsd etc

I am unsure why as i thought i had put everything i needed into the method and sequence.

Secondly, it appears other people use excel to do the data manipulation instead of using Chemstation. Is this easier or of benefit?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Run a Sequence Summary Report, after the method is calibrated and saved. This can be set up and reprocessed after the samples are injected. We typically run RT %RSD, peak area %RSD, tailing factor, and resolution.

Ok thanks. How exactly would i go about doing that. I have the method saved and calibrated.

Thanks

If I could figure this out, most should be able to do this as well. If you really can't figure it out from the first link, reply with your E-mail address and I'll E-mail the stepwise directions in Microsoft Word, has screen captures as well.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Its been a real help.

Many thanks
